Angela (Trouty) has come back after two weeks nursing sick parents. I have been losing the battle to keep the house (Hotel Paradiso) clean. The sofas have been home to an assortment of teenagers and young adults who go to bed 3 hours after me and get up similar period after I have gone to work.

You no longer need a tetanus jab to enter the house, the towns takeaways will now experience a deepening of the credit crunch. We have found out that Simon is allergic to most home cleaning products and Verity feels the need to scatter her underwear to the four winds rather than locate the washing basket. I hope that we are never parted again.

Before the family and record company get the chance to cash in on the death of MJ, Vodafone, O2 and Orange must have had their best day since New Years Eve.  I have had so many jokes sent to me today. As everyone knows, the phone companies secretly fund a joke writing team that initiate all of these circulating jokes,  which must generate millions. That’s my conspiracy theory of the day.

We can now await the start of the MJ industry ala Elvis Presley, Neverland will become the new Graceland. We will all have  Michael Jackson plate and tea towel.

There is a growing opinion in the Childs house that we should buy a tent. Firstly so we can stick the hoards of teenagers that seem to crash out ours in it overnight. Secondly, so that Ange and myself can escape for the odd night and walk the dog along the beach somewhere.

This is not an attempt to jump on the current glamping bandwagon, we are not looking to stay in a Yurt or Tipi with a fitted wood burning stove. I fancy good old British camping with a crappy calor gas burner and communal toilets. I will continue this post if we take the plunge and make a tent purchase.

June will see a major change to ADC Online Ltd, Simon will be leaving to focus on Cricket20 and I am going to be working more closely with Activebrand to deliver larger projects. Simon has been working with me for 7 years and after the Twenty20 World Cup, I am sure that we will work on some projects together again. It turns out that if you keep your car long enough it may become worth more. Not because it achieves antique value, but because the government are threatening to launch a scrappage scheme that means you can get money for trading in an old car against a new one. Our second car known as the ‘loozer croozer’ may the worth £2000, it’s currently worth 50p. In the event that Gordon B (or his mate Darling) don’t launch a scheme many of the manufacturers have beaten them to it. Especially Citroen who have their own scrappage scheme, launched this month.
